We were hired to follow and document a university film production class during the making of a short film, Dreadful Sorrry, that won The South Carolina Film Production Fund Short in 2010. Dreadful Sorry was directed by Robert Richmond.
Our task was to make two documentaries:
- One documentary was to be used as a promotional piece that highlighted the benefits of the class and program
- The other documentary was to be more creative and essentially get a different perspective than the promotional piece
By the end of the process, the original promotional piece was divided into several smaller videos that focused on different beneficial aspects of the Film Commission program and USC class.
The other documentary is being submitted to film fests, and we will update this page with information as it gets accepted to festivals and wins awards.
